Cruelty Free Skin Care: Abbey Essentials Eye Cream

I get pretty paranoid about trying to give myself enough sleep (with mixed success) and I haven't quite got to the wrinkley stage yet. I mainly use eye cream to try and prevent all of these things, rather than eradicate them. Obviously its quite hard to tell if that's really happening, but essentially I'm looking for something that gives a delicate area of skin a bit of extra moisture.
The Company
Abbey Essentials is a family owned business based in Norfolk. None of the products are tested on animals, all are vegetarian, and the majority are vegan too. The ingredients are primarily natural and organic and the products are all paraben free. Yay!

They specialise in essential oils which isn't something that I know a lot about, but they also stock made up gels, creams, lotions, cleansing floral waters, and shampoo's and things -there are cosmetic gems to be found! Lots of these are base creams which you could then add your choice of essentials or absolute oils to and 'flavor' to your liking. If you don't feel like you're up to doing this yourself, you can call them to see if they would be able to make it up for you. I love the idea of being able to pick exactly what you want and I'm keen to experiment with their shower gel base.

The Product
£8.95 per 25ml (but currently on sale for £4.75!)

The eye cream comes as a totally finished product. It's very very moisturising, and while I don't have a lot of trouble with my under eye area I've still noticed a difference. I have slight creases at the edges of my eyes which seem to have been softened, and everything feels nice and hydrated. The cream is still able to sink into the the skin instantly and doesn't leave a film or anything like that, so makeup can be worn on top without a problem.

The labeling suggests that you should apply the cream twice a day. Sometimes I do, but I've also missed the odd time here and there. Sometimes my attempts to get lots of sleep see me snoozing my alarm up to the last possible moment, and then breakfast takes priority. Why am I talking to you about my breakfast? Basically I've still been very pleased with this product's results, even if I sometimes sideline it. If you need an eye cream to do more than I need it too, I have lots of potential faith!

I'm also a big fan of the pump. One small squeeze gives you the perfect amount to apply to both eye areas. I've tried a few eye creams which splutter massive amounts everywhere, but with this one nothing is wasted.

Do you use eye cream? If so, which is your favorite?

*Abbey Essentials sent me the product for free, but all of the views are entirely my own :)
